Based in Denver, Colorado Wazee Companies, LLC provides electrical and mechanical solutions to aerospace, manufacturing, municipalities, mining, power generation, oil and gas and other heavy industrial customers through three business segments.

In 1921 under Colorado State electrical license #21 Wazee Electric began operations. Wazee Electric provides electrical design and installation, electric motor and generator repair, and an outside field service group who provides predictive maintenance and onsite repair.

Wazee Crane provides overhead material handling solutions with service and manufacturing capabilities to 120 ton and 110 foot spans. Wazee Crane began operations in 1961.

Started in 2007, Wazee Wind provides a wide range of wind turbine repairs including but not limited to generator, gearbox and electrical repair both up and down tower. Wazee Wind also offers many replacement wind parts and brushes, inventorying them in our Colorado warehouses.

In 2010 Wazee Companies, LLC acquired the thriving business of Washington based H&N Electric, a leading provider of repair, maintenance and overhaul services for critical motors and wind generators in the pacific northwest. From its offices in Pasco and Spokane, Washington, H&N Electric serves an extensive list of leading manufacturing, distribution, power generation, agriculture and wind farm customers in the western United States.

According to Trevor Armstrong, the President of Wazee, “The addition of H&N Electric will significantly expand our wind generation maintenance capabilities, overhead crane/hoist sales and electric motor repair offerings.”

Wazee Companies was nominated as one of the “Colorado Companies to Watch” and has grown from a single site with less than 35 employees to more than 100 employees in five locations in less than four years.

And did you know? Wazee (Wah-zee) means "tall pine" in one Native American language. It was the name of the native-american wife of one of the mountain men who settled here in 1851. Later, Wazee became the name of a downtown Denver street which our business was founded on in 1921.
